Q. WHY HERBS?
A. Since the ancient times, plants have provided mankind with food and medicine. Every continent has traditions involving the use of herbs for nourishing, cleansing and balancing the body, mind and spirit. These traditions have been passed down and enhanced with scientific understanding to provide practical information for the maintenance of optimum health.
Q. WHAT ABOUT HERBAL QUALITY?
A. Herbal quality is of utmost importance. Certain parts of an herbal plant (i.e., leaves, stems, roots, etc.) must be picked in the proper season and time of day and used fresh in order to have effective herbal therapy. High quality herb will retain all the characteristics of the whole herb: aroma, color, taste, and effect. These plants should be organically grown or wildcrafted so as to avoid contamination from pesticides.
Q. WHAT ARE HERBAL EXTRACTS?
A. Herbal extracts are used in many forms and strengths as tinctures, fluid extracts, etc. These are water and vegetable glycerin extractions made from fresh or shade-dried plants. A few herbs are also extracted in organic olive oil for external use. Herbal extracts offer the advantage of being more readily available to the body than powdered herbs. These plant extracts are effective preparations which are well tolerated. They may be taken alone or in a little water or juice.
Q. WHY USE HERBAL COMBINATIONS?
A. Herbal combinations are chosen to specifically address the entire complaint of an individual. Herbs that address particular symptoms are chosen over similar plants. Several plants or their extracts can work together in a balanced fashion. What one herb lacks, another can provide so that together it is more effective than a single herb. Some herbs in the combination would help relieve the symptoms while others act to correct the cause of the symptoms.
Q. WHAT IS VEGETABLE GLYCERIN?
A. Glycerin is “a colorless, liquid of thick syrupy consistence, oily to the touch, odorless, very sweet and slightly warm to taste” -United States Pharmacopoeia.
Glycerin is used as a preservative as well as an alternative to alcohol for the administration of herbal remedies.

Occasionally, an item will be out of stock and its availability will not be accurately reflected on the website. We make every attempt to keep this information as up to date as possible. You will be notified by e-mail or phone if there will be any delay in shipping. We apologize in advance if the item you ordered is not available!
“HOLD” orders mean that your shipment is on backorder and will be processed when the item(s) arrive. We only charge your credit card when the order is shipped or processed with the manufacturer. If you sent payment by check, it usually takes 10-14 business days to clear our account.
“PRE-ORDERS” Please be aware that while all pre-orders will be fulfilled, date of fulfillment is subject to supplies on hand. Pre-orders are on a first come, first-served basis and BabysBest.us cannot, therefore, guarantee a shipping date.
Q. WHY AM I BEING CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL FEE FOR ADDRESS CORRECTION?
A. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you provide us with the correct shipping address. If you originally provided us with the wrong address, and it is your error and not ours, then we will have to charge an additional $10 to cover our expenses.
Q. I AM AN INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER, WHAT ARE YOUR METHODS OF PAYMENT?
A. 1) Send a wire transfer: You must send the amount of your purchase (in US dollars), PLUS $20 for the transfer fee that our bank will charge us. This does not include any additional fees which YOUR bank may charge you. (We recommend this method since it will speed up processing by 10-15 business days for International orders) 2) Send a Personal Check, Cashiers Check or Money Order (International Orders can either send a Cashiers Check or an International Money Order). We will ship your order as soon as payment clears our bank, usually 12 business days. Returned check transaction fees are $30 if applicable.
